HIV/AIDS Interventions - A National Study |
1. Introduction
How does HIV/AIDS effect our construction industry? What measures are being taken in an effort to reduce these effects and how effective are these measures?
The purposes of this survey is to identify the nature and effect of HIV/AIDS treatement programmes currently being implemented by contractors in the construction industry. As such we are undertaking a national study of randomly-selected construction firms. We would greatly value your contribution to the survey.
While we ask for the name of your organization, your responses are HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL. This is merely to track who has responded rather than to link specific answers to specific companies. The results will be published in aggregate form only and responding organisations will remain completely anonymous.
Should you have any questions or comments with respect to this survey, please feel free to contact the primary researcher at the University of Cape Town; details are given below.
Professor Paul Bowen (paul.bowen@uct.ac.za)
The survey is set out in sections as follows:

SECTION B: Company perceptions and policies
